The Club’s General Manager recognized the Club Controller’s resignation as an opportunity to evaluate the efficiency and effectivess of the back office operations as part of hiring a replacement accountant.

Americlub performed a 360° Confidential Review. The review probed for efficiency gains through automation and smart-sourcing. In addition, the review sought possible reductions in employee benefits, insurance, taxes, technology fees, financing costs, payroll administration and other third-party charges.

We assisted in recruiting, interviewing, selecting and supervising a club accountant capable of supporting the current operation and then leading the growth of the finance department through the planned expansion to add 27 golf holes, a marina and a beach club.

After reviewing the existing job responsibilities and determining the qualification requirements we recommended cost effective recruiting activities, interpreted each candidate’s apparent personality traits and job experiences then recommended final candidates based on their suitability.

The process yielded improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations as well as a successful candidate that three years later continues to provide value to our client. Americlub provided supervision during the employee’s orientation and then regular oversight and consultation to sustain the performance of the finance department and its human capital.
